Questions marked “NS” will NOT be shared publicly and are used solely for administrative purposes by the NEL Board. All other answers provided in this Contestant Application will be seen by: the NEL Board, to verify your eligibility as a Contestant; the NEL Contest Judges, to learn about you prior to your contestant interview; the NEL Contest Emcee, to tell the audience about you during the Contest.

Please only share information in your responses that you are comfortable being read and shared in this fashion. You will have further opportunities to share about yourself to the NEL contest judges privately during your individual contestant interview.
