To actively empower, preserve, and promote the history and future of the leather community of New England.

New England Leather (NEL) is proud to be celebrating our 12^th year as a contest,our 2nd year as a NON-Gender-Specific Contest, and our 1st Year as an official nonprofit here in the State of MA. We’re honored and humbled to have reached this milestone as a Title Contest to represent New England’s LGBTQ+ Leather Community. This celebration empowers our organization to continue being a force for positivity in our LGBTQ+ community and beyond, and being a welcoming, supportive space for New England’s queer leather people regardless of gender or gender expression.

Meet Mr. New England Leather 2025

doug bronco

Doug Bronco is a nerdy fringe wearing show pony that resides in the greater Boston area. Doug identifies as an Emotional Support Himbo and is currently living out his dream being the cowboy that people prefer to ride over horses.(Save the horses) In his free time, Doug prefers to pick things up and put things down.

As a leatherman, Doug advocates for the inclusion of all body types, sexualities, gender identities and expressions in the kink community. He believes that there will always be work to do and there will always be space for anyone that wants to put gear on and feel a little rowdy. Doug is incredibly honored to be representing the community and serving as the newest addition to the Mr. New England Leather family.

Think you have what it takes to earn the title of New England Leather 2026? Well now’s your chance as we are currently accepting applications! The winner of the New England Leather title contest will represent the region at International Mr. Leather (IML) contest or International Ms. Leather (IMsL) during their New England Leather title year. An airfare and lodging stipend will be awarded to the winner in addition to their New England Leather title sash and back patch. The winner will represent the leather community of New England for one calendar year.
